CHANTILLY, Va.: Today, Delegate John J. Bell (D – Loudoun) announced that his reelection campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates has been endorsed by the Virginia chapter of the National Organization for Women.
Delegate Bell said of the endorsement: “I’m overwhelmed by the support of the community, and today thankful for the endorsement of Virginia NOW. I will continue to be a staunch advocate for women in the Virginia General Assembly, from enforcing our equal pay laws to protecting a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. Again, many thanks to all my supporters and Virginia NOW for helping make this campaign a success.”
“Delegate Bell’s opponent, Republican Subba Kolla, is a risk Virginia women cannot afford to take,” said Jacqueline Hixson, spokesperson for the Bell campaign. “Mr. Kolla identifies with politicians like President Donald Trump, who doesn’t believe a pay gap exists. If Republican Subba Kolla wins, we all lose.”
Delegate John J. Bell is a 26-year Air Force veteran serving his first term in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 87th District in Loudoun and Prince William Counties.
