ASHBURN, Va.: Today, Secretary of Education Dietra Trent and Delegate John J. Bell (D – Loudoun) presented commending resolution, HJ 755, as well as recognized students who will be participating in the Early College Program and NOCTI certificate recipients.
“Innovative programs like these are essential to providing our students with the skills and resources they need to be successful, both academically and professionally,” said Secretary of Education Dietra Trent. “Making education relevant for the 21st century means encouraging students to think critically, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively. I witnessed that and much more at work here today and I applaud the dedication of the educators and students of Rock Ridge High School.”
“Preparing the next generation to participate in the New Virginia Economy means ensuring that every child has the opportunity to engage in next-level learning. That’s what Rock Ridge High School is so successfully doing right here in Loudoun County,” said Delegate John J. Bell. “Inventing programs where students can excel creatively takes a lot of hard work and dedication, both from faculty and from students. I congratulate all of you on the hard work you’re doing, and may you have continued success!”
