South Riding, VA – John Bell secured the endorsement of three important advocacy groups this week, earning the support of the Virginia Education Association, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Virginia 512, and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters. Representatives of these groups praised John’s work ethic, leadership, and new solutions that would improve quality of life for the 87th District and all Virginians.
“Virginia’s quality of life depends on the health of our education system,” said Joey Mathews, President of the Loudoun Education Association. “We need leaders in Richmond like John Bell who will strongly advocate for our schools and invest in our children’s future. John will always fight for students, parents, and teachers, and we are proud to support him.”
David Broder, President of SEIU VA 512, added, “Working families throughout the 87th District need a champion like John Bell in Richmond. John will work tirelessly to improve public education, increase economic opportunity, and expand health care access for hardworking Virginians.”
“Virginia needs more delegates who will protect water and air quality, support clean energy, and fight to preserve Virginia’s beautiful natural landscape,” said Michael Town, executive director for the Virginia League of Conservation Voters. “ As a member of the House of Delegates, we believe John will be a tireless protector of resources that are important to all Virginians.”
John Bell said, “I’m honored to receive support from so many diverse and well-respected constituencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia. These endorsements show that my campaign is concentrating on the issues that matter most to hardworking families in Loudoun and Prince William counties.”
The 87th District includes most of Sterling, South Riding, and eastern Ashburn in Loudoun County, as well as portions of western Prince William County. John Bell was previously endorsed by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia.
