RICHMOND, Va.: Delegate John J. Bell (D – Loudoun) passed five bills during the 2018 legislative session.
“I’m proud of my accomplishments in the House of Delegates, and am always honored to do the good work that the people of the 87th District sent me to Richmond to do,” said Delegate John J. Bell. “These five bills will help the Commonwealth save taxpayer dollars, help EMS volunteers, and aid small businesses continue operating. I am so thankful to have the ability to improve the lives of those in Loudoun and Prince William Counties.”
- HB 97 and HB 134 deal with procurement, and help save taxpayer dollars
- HB 135 helps minors who wish to volunteer as an EMS do so by undergoing a juvenile background check
- HB 286 allows wineries, breweries, and distilleries the flexibility to allow dogs in their tasting rooms, helping these small companies maintain business
- HB 709 increases the fine for criminal zoning violations and keeps us all safer
