Delegate John Bell Recognizes Sterling Volunteer Fire Company for 50 Years of Service

STERLING, Va.: Delegate John Bell (D – Loudoun) presented a commending resolution, HJ 732, to the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company to celebrate their fiftieth anniversary, which occurred on August 16, 2016.

“It’s my honor and privilege to recognize these brave men and women who ensure our safety every day. My father was a volunteer firefighter, and I know how important your service and dedication is to our neighborhood,” said Delegate John Bell. “Service before self is one of the tenets of the Air Force that I carry with me every day, and the members of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company live that motto as well. Today your community and I thank you, and all your colleagues over the past 50 years, who show us day in and day out what it means to be a hero.”
