Bell Bulletin: Winter Storm Tips

As forecasts for Northern Virginia become more clear, it looks like we're in for some major snowfall. Please take a look at these resources from VDOT and VDEM to keep you and your loved ones safe over the next several days.

Prepare and Recover

Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) has some great resources to help you get ready to weather the storm, like making an emergency supplies kit and how to prepare for several types of disasters.

Snow Plow Tracker

After the storm has passed, VDOT will begin clearing the roads. Primary roads will be cleared within 24 hours, and secondary roads will be cleared within 48 hours. Please stay off the roads as much as possible to allow crews to do their work.

You can see where snow plows are around you, and the schedule that VDOT is maintaining to plow our roads here. >
